The Aether Tree is an independent art rock band based in Missouri. Beginning as a lofi solo multitracking project, it quickly grew into a full fledged live and studio band, playing 20 regional shows and releasing 3 CD's in the first year and a half of its existence. Known for their energetic and entertaining live shows this unorthodox and unpredictable two piece gained a strong local fanbase, and continue to branch out farther from their hometown, playing shows in support of their new studio album, The Children's War, released March 28, 2009. Recently, Donovan has been joined by new drummer Taylor Thorne, and work has begun on their next studio album, due Summer 2010.
